COURSE DESCRIPTION:
NCBTMB 7 Hands on CEUs

The University of Virginia’s discovery of lymph in the brain (June 2015) has lead to significant research having a major impact on professional sports injuries and concussion protocols. You will hear testimonial from our Advisory Board member and former NFL Player utilizing our protocol from the MLD Clinic he and his wife own. This course focuses on the “practical” application of MLD allowing participants to experience the clinical setting of LTS Clinic that partnered with university researchers in studies now published in medical journals. MLD for athletes involves rigorous documentation, including standardized measuring protocols used for research taught in this course. Followed by, manual lymph drainage on a timed schedule and self care with “medical grade” compression wear to deliver a complete package. *There will also be a review for the test.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Elisa DiFalco, M.S., O.T., LMT, CLT-LANA
International Educator, Researcher, Author

Searching for MLD to help a friend with breast cancer, Ms. DiFalco was offered an open door to work for the famous Dr. Robert Lerner. She enjoyed the role of therapist, instructor, and insurance consultant before becoming Clinic Director of the Ft. Lauderdale clinic.

With 20 years of experience, Elisa has shared her secrets via radio, research, articles, books and continuing education. Elisa’s love of education has been felt on the advisory board for LMT and OT’s in the colleges where she has taught. She also served as the FSMTA Education Standards Chair.

Currently, Elisa holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, a Bachelor’s in Psychology and is a LMT with LANA Certification in MLD. Her plan. “Learning is life long. I will never stop learning as long as I live.”
