Course Description

This course is a hands-on 12-hour CE course.

Creativity is a learned behavior. Learning to be more creative in your massage will ensure that your work stays fresh and never boring. This course is designed to unleash your creative massage potential. We learn many modalities over our careers as Massage Therapists. We then take parts of those modalities and choose what to incorporate into our work, this is a creative process. Through group exercises and directed creative play, you will discover your inner massage artist.


What you will experience in this class:
In the first half of the class, we will learn body and vocal warmups and then progress through a series of hands-on rhythmic tapotement and body percussion exercises. We will use drums to keep cadence and to stay together in rhythm. In the second half of the class, we will be doing hands-on imagery exercises and hands-on choreographed movement as a group.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Bio:
Bradford Donnaud is a 1998 alumnus of The Atlanta School of Massage and has been a working massage therapist for the last 24 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Valdosta State University. He is an NCBTMB Certified provider and proudly offers his courses to therapists who wish to discover their inner artist.
